VOstorage the long term digital storage solution

A place for everything digital from confidential records to music files, you can find it and store it in VOstorage. The digital storage component of the hosted desktop is integrated within your desktop and moves data along 2 paths - online storage and offline storage. There is nothing special you need to do to activate the storage potential waiting for you. All hosted desktops are configured with a base storage capacity which is adequate for most users. Power users can easily add online storage in 5 gb incrememts.

How is Data Stored?

Data is stored and accesible online just like your current hard drive. It couldn't be easier to store and retrieve your data online. Simply add your storage location to "My Network Places" in Windows and drag and drop files as if they were on your own computer. Although your daily operations will be stored online in a RAID configuration, all offline archived data will be stored on hard media.

Archive

Disaster can come from the most mundane places and is something out of the ordinary. No matter how we protect the network and you protect your data accidents are just a part of life. As an example let's say that in January you deleted a file you believed you no longer needed, but come July you wished you could have it back. Well now with archiving that is possible, we can reload the January or December data set and allow you to bring back data from the data graveyard. There also may be instances were you do not want anything archived - In that case choose a subscription plan that excludes archiving and your data will not be moved into offline storage.
