Remote Desktop Connection

This tutorial covers "Remote Desktop Connection" using Window XP through a VPN gateway.

No Downloads Required! We do not send emails to clients instructing them to download files.

Remote Desktop Connection

  • Login into the host server using VPN ( Remote DeskTop Connection - Tutorial )
  • Go To "Start" > "All Programs" > "Accesories" > "Remote Desktop Connection"
  • Enter in the "Computer Name" supplied by Iasun
  • Click > "Connect"

You can now see and work in a secure environment from anywhere

Close Virtual Desktop

  • Move "cursor" to the top of your screen
  • A drop "down panel" will appear
  • Click the "X" on the right hand side of the drop down panel
  • Your session will "terminate"
  • Please be aware that you also need to "close" the VPN connection to totally disconnect
  • Optionally you may select the the "minimize" button to return to your local screen
  • You will have no local network access if the VPN connection is connected
