Start Up

This guide covers the basics of getting started with a "Hosted Desktop" from Iasun.

No Downloads Required! We do not send emails to clients instructing them to download files.

To get started, you only need to establish a secure virtual private network connection - VPN

Step 1 - Establish VPN Connection

  • Enter the IP address of the host server in your VPN connection wizard ( Setup a VPN connection )
  • Enter in Password → Case SeNsITive
  • Done you now have a secure VPN connection

Step 2 - Remote Desktop Connection

  • Login into the host server in Step 1 ( Remote DeskTop Connection - Tutorial )
  • Go To "Start" > "All Programs" > "Accesories" > "Remote Desktop Connection"
  • Enter in the "Computer Name" supplied by Iasun
  • You are now connected to you Virtual DeskTop

Step 3 - Connecting your remote data to your local desktop

  • Login into the host server in Step 1
  • Go to My Network Places → Select "Add a Network Place"
  • When prompted enter in the IP address as in Step 1
  • You are now connected to VOstorage
  • Drag and Drop files from your local desktop to the "Virtual Desktop"

You can now work in a secure environment from anywhere
